  11.   The DDN NEWSLETTER is distributed online by the DDN Network
  12.   Information Center under DISA contract as a means of communicating
  13.   official policy, procedures and other information of concern to
  14.   management personnel at DDN facilities.  Back issues may be read
  15.   through the TACNEWS server ("@n" command at the TAC) or may be
  16.   obtained by FTP (or Kermit) from the NIC.DDN.MIL host [192.112.36.5]
  17.   using login="anonymous" and password="guest".  The pathname
  18.   for bulletins is ddn-news/ddn-news-nnnn.txt (where "nnnn" is the
  19.   bulletin number).

  28.     REQUEST ALL NODE SITE COORDINATORS AND HOST ADMINISTRATORS DISSEMINATE
  29.     THIS INFORMATION TO ALL THEIR DDN TAC USERS.

  32.     1. DDN Management Bulletin 9304 announced that effective 11 Dec 93, the
  33.     current DDN 1-800 TAC Dial-up system will be replaced by the new FTS
  34.     2000 Integrated Customer Network. Technical problems encountered by the
  35.     vendor during the installation phase of the new 1-800 FTS Service forced 
  36.     DISA to POSTPONE activation of this system until further notice.

  38.     2. PLEASE ADVISE ALL TAC USERS AT THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE DATE that the
  39.     LOG-IN PROCEDURES currently in effect will remain valid until
  40.     additional guidance is provided. Under the current 1-800 system, USERS
  41.     will begin their LOG-IN procedure with a <CONTROL> <Q> wake-up
  42.     character to access the DDN.

  44.     3. If customers require additional assistance, the DDN Customer Help
  45.     Desk is available to answer your questions. The DDN Customer Help Desk
